Storytelling With Purpose

I’m a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television and a Chicago native with a passion for writing and directing stories that showcase the many facets of Black life, with a strong emphasis on the inclusion and representation of Black women both on and off screen.

My experience as a writer, director, 1st and 2nd Assistant Camera has allowed me to explore storytelling from both creative and technical perspectives, cultivating a well-rounded understanding of film and television production. I freelance across a variety of projects, from short-form narrative work to branded and faith-based content, always looking for new ways to bring stories to life.

I believe art imitates life, but it can also challenge it. Storytelling gives us a way to rebel against the narratives we've been handed, connect through our shared human experiences, and make space for voices that deserve to be heard.
